A Moroccan Diplomat, Dr. Abdelkader EL KHISSASSI is working actually as an Expert in Social and Civil Affairs at the Union for the Mediterranean, in charge of the youth and civil protection sectors.

He also served before as a political, economic, communications and civil society advisor in Moroccan embassies in Africa and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Morocco.

Doctor in Contemporary History of International Relations, specialized in the Euro-Med Relations (University of Strasbourg), he was an assistant professor at the University of Strasbourg and a professor of European Law at the Higher Education Institute By Alternation – Strasbourg.

In 2016, Dr El Khissassi published « The challenges of Euro-Mediterranean relations between the Fall of the Berlin Wall and the setbacks of the Arab Spring », Europeans Academic Publishing.
