FEMISE is organizing its annual conference on the 14th and 15th of November 2009 in Brussels, Belgium. This year, the conference will address the theme of the convergence of the Med countries (the Agenda and the Concept note are available here).

The FEMISE annual conference gathers members’ institutes, affiliates and other interested participants from the North and South of the Mediterranean to address and exchange views on issues related to the EU-Med Partnership, Neighbourhood policy and Union of the Mediterranean and their effects on the economic and social aspects of the Mediterranean Partners countries. The conference serves also as a platform for networking among members of the association and with other distinguished participants.

The conference will include plenary sessions and parallel sessions. In the parallel sessions, FEMISE members will present their most recent findings and results of their FEMISE funded projects. An agenda of the two days conference will be soon available on this website.

Members of the network are invited to participate in the forthcoming conference, that will take place at the Metropole Hotel Brussels. FEMISE would like also to welcome non-members institutes and researchers intrested in participating (please contact us at contact@femise.org in order to check the possibilities and special rates).
