The role of the Governance committee include:
- Ensuring that the adopted objectives and vision of the institutions as stated in the Articles of Incorporation are maintained and remain relevant.
- Ensuring that the Association’s bodies are fully functioning and that their roles and responsibilities are clear and implemented
- Ensuring that all committees established by the Board have a clear Terms of References, mandate, duration and are fulfilling their roles;
- Providing support to the Bureau, when needed, to develop strategic notes/plans with regards to the sustainability of the network.
- Represent the Board in relevant negotiation meetings, related, but not limited, to strategic partnership, fundraising, etc.
